About the Producer

Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair is one of the most exciting estates in Vosne-Romanée, revived by Louis-Michel Liger-Belair in 2000 after the family’s vineyards had been leased to other producers for decades. The domaine includes the monopole Grand Cru La Romanée — the smallest appellation in France at just 0.85 hectares — as well as exceptional Premier Cru and village holdings in Vosne-Romanée and Nuits-Saint-Georges.

Louis-Michel practises biodynamic viticulture and a hands-off approach in the cellar, producing wines of extraordinary purity and terroir expression. These are among the most sought-after wines in Burgundy today.

Tasting profile: Red and dark cherry, floral notes, subtle spice, and a profound mineral depth. The wines combine elegance with intensity, and the best cuvées have an almost otherworldly purity.
